About Me

I am a designer, builder, engineer, community organizer, and woodworker.

I graduated top of my class with a BSE in Mechanical Engineering in 2009 from the University of Michigan. I decided not to pursue traditional engineering career.

Instead, I founded Aldea Development, a non-profit organization that worked with 23 communities and approximately 9,500 people in Honduras. Over a decade of work with the communities of La Union, I worked to build the non-profit’s four program areas and designed/oversaw the construction of dozens of community infrastructure projects anywhere from large-scale water distribution systems to improved wastewater treatment facilities.

In 2020, I transitioned out of my leadership role in Aldea Development to move back to the US with my wife, Grisel, and to pursue a career path that combines my love of design with my lifelong passion for woodworking.
